Changing our meeting time from 8 to 9:30 a.m. we were able to arrive at the end of the rain and the beginning of mostly cloudy and cool day .... just right for energizing search for our discoveries. The dirt road to the location was muddy & wet in some areas. We tried to go to the right around the hill, but it was thickly overgrown, so we went on the trail leading to the top of the hill. Once at the top, we saw how steep, very steep, the slope was. But each one found a way to work the area. Everyone found something that pleased them: epidote, babingtonite, purple fluorite, feldspar, quartz, biotite and graphite or molybdenum.
